Handsome Haulers Occupational Safety and Health Policy.

Statement:

The management of Handsome Haulers recognise and is committed to its obligations to improve and maintain the health and safety of all its employees. It is therefore the policy of management to take all practical steps for the provision of a safe working environment and system of work for prevention of accidents. In doing so, management will comply with all relevant health and safety legislation and implement relevant health and safety standards of work practice. The standards in accordance with the provision of the Work and Health Safety Act 2020 will so far as practicable be implemented to ensure that employees are not exposed to hazards in the work place. In the event of injury the management of Handsome Haulers are committed to early intervention in the injury management process assisting where possible the return of its employees to meaningful and productive work following injury, illness or disability. It is on this basis that management of Handsome Haulers will provide injury management for employees including vocational rehabilitation assistance in circumstances where injury prevents return of the injured worker to their former job. Injury management and vocational rehabilitation services are to be offered to injured, ill or disabled employees arising out of a compensable work related injury. Services will be provided within the guideline of the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981 and related amendments.
